BLEPHAROPLASTY WITH NO SWELLING – A PERSONAL TECHNIQUE

Descripción:

The common practice of blepharoplasty involves considerable swelling post-operatively.1,2 Patients are generally advised to have hot compresses for the first 48 hours after the operation and later cold compresses, for variable number of days. Swelling usually takes several weeks to subside completely, and results are delayed.3 This is especially not beneficial for those group of patients, who consider going back to routine quickly. The author has devised a technique, in which there is no swelling, immediately after the operation, leading to quickest results in cases of blepharoplasty.
