Conventional blepharoplasty leads to considerable swelling post-operatively. Swelling and black eyes linger on for weeks in certain cases. The author has devised an extra-ordinary technique in which the swelling is either minimal or non-existent immediately after surgery. Furthermore, black eyes do not take place with this technique.
