Hassan Abbas Khawaja is a fine Cosmetic Surgeon with an excellent academic formation and a very busy practice. Along his scientific career he has made important contributions about his specialty as well in medical journals as through cosmetic surgery books, with wide international diffusion. On the last years Dr. Khawaja has been concerned about the problem of the unjustified attacks against well trained surgeons working in cosmetic surgery; those attacks came mostly from plastic surgeons. According to them they should be the only ones capable to perform cosmetic surgery procedures. The target are mostly dermatologists practicing cosmetic surgery, no matter if they have a complete training in this art.
