Starting in this issue of MSAJCS I am asking to some well known cosmetic surgeons to explain why they, besides of General Surgeons or Dermatologists, were oriented to Cosmetic Surgery, this very special form of Surgery, oriented to raise the self-esteem through the improvement of some anatomical features considered as part of the beauty. Readers also should enjoy an explanation concerning how did they begin to walk into this fascinating form of surgery. Certainly there are a number of wrong perceptions regarding this beautiful branch of Surgery to which we are engaged.
