Descripción:
Plastic surgeons are basically trained in re-construction in public, and government hospitals, where aesthetic surgery is either prohibited, or is considered unnecessary. However, most of these plastic surgeons, earn a major share of their income from private practice of cosmetic surgery-a specialty in which they are not properly trained. On the other hand, these plastic surgeons claim via media that cosmetic surgery, should only be performed by plastic surgeons, and that complications take place in the hands of other specialties, not plastic surgeons. The aim of this paper is to highlight the truth, as to what plastic surgeons do, and what plastic surgeons, should do, to do better in aesthetic surgery, and who is responsible, based on evidence, for a major share of complications in aesthetic surgery.
