Advances in Cosmetics, as Clinical as Surgical, have evolved in a quickly since the mid-60´s. Evolution of new techniques in the cosmetic repair after removal of skin cancer, advances in liposuction surgery—including especially the advent of the tumescent technique—, fat transfer and the use of adipose stem cells and platelet enriched plasma, to mention a few, have led the field of Cutaneous Surgery to unexpected heights. This is also valid in skin care research.
